Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about joining and navigating the Loveworld Export Readiness Program.

1. What is the Loveworld Export Readiness Program?

The LERP is an end-to-end operational framework designed to transform Strategic Business Organisations within the Loveworld ecosystem from domestically focused enterprises into compliant, competitive organisations well positioned for regional and global trade. It integrates assessment, capacity development, compliance, market access, and live transaction support into a single transformation pipeline.

2. Who is eligible to participate in the LERP??

The LERP targets Loveworld members who own or manage businesses, SBOs within the Loveworld ecosystem, cooperatives and producer clusters affiliated with Loveworld, and manufacturers, agro-processors, creatives, and service providers. Participants must be members of the Loveworld Business Network, own a registered business, demonstrate export potential, and commit to the programme's values and discipline.

3. How long does the program take to complete?

The program follows a stage-gated pathway aligned to each SBO's export maturity. Progression through the seven phases depends on readiness benchmarks, not fixed timelines. The short-term target is to onboard and certify SBOs within 3–6 months, with the goal of supporting first exports within 6–12 months.

4. What support does each participating SBO receive?

Every SBO is assigned a dedicated Export Advisor, a Compliance Mentor, and a Market Access Facilitator. They also receive access to the central LERP Help Desk, structured training curriculum, compliance documentation templates, and direct buyer linkage through Loveworld's global trade network.

5. How can a business apply to the LERP?

Applications are processed through the Department of Commerce. Interested SBOs can register via the LW Registry, which serves as the entry point for verification, profiling, and programme placement. Contact @ on KC for more information on cohort intake dates.
